The 1894 was produced from 1894 through 1934. In general, beginning in 1935 serial numbers got a letter prefix. Most sources have serial numbers up through 355300 which for 1906 lists the range 329001 through 355300
So having a serial number 427xxx on a an 1894 puts it in the range between 1906 and 1934. Assuming 1907 started with 355301 and there were 20-25k rifles produced each year. I would guess 427xxx is somewhere around 1909-1911
