Took Mrs and myself to a state DNR shooting range today for my birthday.
Fred 6 shots out of the recently purchased 336 3030. Shot pretty nice.
2 shots in the same hole at 12 o'clock, 2 in the same hole on the edge of the black square and 2 single holes at 3 o'clock.
... target photo should be turned a 1/4 turn right.lol
But ....Oh my Lord. We did not stay at the range very long.
I believe in the 2nd amendment. ... but some people just should NOT have a firearm. Punk kids, I'd say early 20's, shooting their pistols and revolvers side arm, quick draw , thug style and a ak47 rapidly off the hip.... you name it. Very unsafe.
No courtesy to anyone else on the line.
It's sad when you have to watch others in their poor handling of a firearm for your own safety. Luckily no one was injured.
After only shot 6 rounds from the 336 3030 and 2 mags in Mrs 9mm we left.
Next time I'll video them and report to the DNR for range violations .

Congratulations on your birthday and a well shot target.
Excellent group for iron sights at 100 yards.

I wish I could shoot like that with iron sights. Me eyes are not as young as they once were. Lol
It had a Simons 3x9x40 8-point mounted on it when I bought it.

    Even so, that's nice shoot'n!!!
My eyes are getting so bad that I'm considering getting rid of all of my rifles except the Browning mod. 92.
I'll hang on to my point and shoot weapons i.e. pistols & shotguns.
    Enjpy it while you can.
After I viewed the picture and enlarged it, I could see the scope.

Here's a picture my buddy sent me when he bought it and asked if I'm interested.

A little late but happy birthday and good shooting. I sold my 336D a while back cause I really like straight wall cases better. I have to say though that the 35 Rem is one fine cartridge.

I love the look and feel how the 35 Rem shoots. It's just to hard to find and ammo for it. I drive OTR Expediting and have checked several states, I couldn't find any. Even the brass was hard to find, and that's getting to be outrageous in price.
