Western Washington Bear season opened last weekend, taking the Marlin 375 out, to see what we can see !! Well 70% of the area we usually hunt was shut down due to "Fire Danger" , however one area we got into was loaded with "scat", and what we believed to be a den under a huge fallen tree "root ball". Temperatures were in the high 70's most of the day, until mid-afternoon when some light scattered showers came in and dropped us down to about 65 degrees, still it was an awesome day !! can't wait to get back out there again !!
