Hi, I am new to this forum. I am looking to purchase a model 60. I found this one locally. The owner says that it only holds 10 rounds (9/1). I am not too familiar with Marlin 60's as I thought they were available in 18 and 14 round capacities.

Can anyone ID this model from the picture?

Looks like a Model 99. Same receiver and action as the 60. Shorter barrel and Magizine. Nice little rifle.

    Welcome to the group.
I agree with SO1 and others. Looks like a Model 99. Wouldn't mind finding one for myself. Good find.
Kind of a M-1 Carbine design. Sweet little rifle.
