    Ruger 10 22?

I was first looking at a Henry lever action 22 rifle.

    now I'm leaning more towards a ruger 10 22.

how many different models are there for this rifle?

I really don't think I need the one that breaks down, cause for me it's no problem to put it in a regular rifle case.

thanks for taking the time to read through this, post if you have the time.

what I'm looking for is a good plinking rifle.
I might add a scope to it,but I just want something to go out and have fun with.

Ruger got it right with the 10/22...

    Here's some light reading: http://www.ruger.com/products/1022/index.html

Most of the differences are cosmetic...so, just pick the one you like the looks of...

and you will have a fine .22 caliber rifle !!

CCI mini-mags..............Although I have shot the Remington's- 555, M-22.. It seems to eat everything and had just a few FTF's---No FTE's it just seems the copper CCI is the best shooting.

I put the Hornet Custom Black Max Trigger assembly 2.5 and the Volterqurzen??spelling? Extractor in mine and it just is a real pleasure to shoot. No creep, travel. nothing. Just a tiny bit of pressure and your off and running!!

Congrats. It is a very nice shooting dead reliable rifle. One thing, they do like to be clean........a bit dirty doesn't seem to be a bother but mine wants to be clean and wet.

Another "black rifle" in the hands of a citizen! I've had my standard 10/22 for 20 something years. About as simple and reliable as anyone can own. Just bought a new Marlin 60 yesterday with a laminated stock. Enjoy your good-looking combo later today.

There's 17 assembled 10/22's here and 3 stripped down in various stages of completion. Always good to see another person bring one home. :) Enjoy!
