I really like the Pro-Fire trigger on the 2 7X guns I have. Have a savage Axis that I have worked on and have it down to a little over 4 lbs.....not good enough. Of the two brands I have found that advertise for drop in the Axis has anybody had experience with them ?? Timney & Basixs or any others that you know of.

Well Nobody "Pulled the Trigger" on this thread. With evedything I can find out about them I have decided on the Timney Trigger. Although about $30 more than the Basix and a little more involved in adjusting gets the better reviews. There are some other ones at Much more $$ but mostly for Bench and compentation shooting. This one will go down to 1.5 lbs which is fine for hunting. Dont need or want anything in the low ounces for hunting.
