Here's my circa 1972 West German Walther PPK/s chambered for the .380acp cartridge.

The Walther PP series pistols are blowback-operated semi automatic pistols. They feature an exposed hammer, a traditional double-action trigger mechanism, a single-column magazine, and a fixed barrel which also acts as the guide rod for the recoil spring. The series includes the Walther PP, PPK, PPK/S, and PPK/E.

That is "one" of my favorite styles of pistol. I've owned a couple clones of the PPK but have not put out the coins for the real thing. I always wanted a Walther P-38 but when I checked at this months gun show, they were way over priced (at least in my mind). The show had 6-8 offered for sale but the prices started at $900 and went up from there. Ouch.
