A semi-local pawn shop has one for sale. The furniture is a little battered, but hopefully the action is still functional.
I have a subcompact 9mm that uses the same magazines as the Camp and my mag supplier tells me that I can get Mec-Gar 15-round blued for under $20/each from him.
I love my first gen 9mm Camp Carbine. Now has the retractable stock on it. I have remove the mag safety and block safety shims and replaced them with SS washers, plus I have beveled in both side of the sear. Trigger still seems heavy but it breaks with complete surprise every time. I love this gun as I also have a stainless S&W 5906, so they share mags. I would bet my life on this Camp 9!
Don’t forget to change out the buffer. If it’s a neutral tan color it’s probably the original and it will likely fall apart soon. Blackjackbuffers sells good ones. Blue color.
BTW- when changing the buffer don’t try to force things back together if it doesn’t seem to want to fit. One of the parts(can’t quite remember which) will assemble backwards or reversed and it’s not apparent and will keep it from going together. YouTube is your friend as I recall
It came back to me. The feed ramp should be in front of the barrel not under it when reassembling. It fits nicely under the barrel but won’t allow a pin to be inserted.
That's awsome! Really interestedin up grading my sights. Looks like a winged after market sight set on Your receiver. That'd work for Me. Looking forward to a a raneg report
