    Just bought a lnib 983s from a local private party $225. I haven't had it out yet so I am looking for some info.....

    Stock Monte Carlo laminated two-tone brown hardwood with nickel-plated swivel studs and rubber rifle butt pad; tough Mar-Shield® finish.

    Barrel 22" stainless steel with Micro-Groove® rifling (20 grooves).

    Twist Rate 1:16" right handed.

    Sights Adjustable semi-buckhorn folding rear, ramp front sight with high visibilty, orange front sight post; cutaway Wide-Scan™ hood.
    Receiver grooved for scope mount; drilled and tapped for scope bases*.
