goin to start loading for a 7-08 bolt gun.My manual doesn`t say anything about crimp. Just not sure if its needed for bullet tension in a bolt action.
Anybody re-load this deer getter ??

I don't have a 7mm-08, but I do load a few others for bolt action rifles. I have never used a crimp. No deer have ever complained about the lack of crimp.

I too have not owned a 7mm-08 but have loaded numerous bolt action calipers. I may have crimped them when I first started loading , but stopped crimping many years ago. The latest bolt rifle was a 270, much like the 7mm-08. My opinion - it isn't needed.
