First rifle and manual recommends only high velocity lr rounds. (Cci ar tactical feed great...1200fps) I have some boxes of 22lr standard velocity (1075fps). Do you think they would cycle fine without causing any damage?

Should do OK if the gun is clean and well lubed.

I have shot everything thru my 795. Cci all the way down to crappy Remington bulk with no problems.
