Anyone have thoughts on the value of one of these carbine look a likes. The LGS has one under 300. Look good with no pits, red dot and original sites still on board.

I would like to find one, I prefer the clip magazine fed vs the tube fed. I did just find a 99M1 at a silent auction and got it for $95. I actually bid $100, but the previous bid must have been $90, because mine came down to the next increment.

I would have a hard time paying close to $300 for one. The 99M1 was worth $100 to me.

Thanks for the tip, don't know much about Marlin 22s, but it looks like other models with a carbine still forearm.

The 99M1 was a tube fed, albeit a very short tube. The 989M2 looks the same, just clip magazine fed. Here's my $95 99M1 from 1969.
