Most all AUTO pistol ammo is TAPER CRIMPED if at all. Just make sure you remove all case mouth flaring prior to seating the bullet. Bullet setback is most always caused by this not being done properly. If you do taper crimp Lightly should surfice. Notice revolver rounds have a canalure for roll crimping, .38, .357, .44, ect. .9mm, .40, .45 do not.
Rule of thumb.....Roll crimp Auto rifle.....No crimp auto pistol
