I mentioned in another thread growing up my Grandparents owned a gun store and attended shows so I grew up in the back of tables and shops.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

My Grandparents would travel all over the state in a huge motor home selling all types of firearms but especially North American Arms.

My brother has a custom .22 mini with his middle name engraved on it.

The also made a point to hold onto left handed holsters for me growing up.

Most gun toy belts came for righties so they made me special belts so I could play with no issues.

My ultimate goal with my leather work is to expand into a full service gun shop. My vision is an old style building with a rustic atmosphere. The kind of place regulars come to to hang out. My oldest suggested we be on the look out for old west artifacts and such to decorate it with. When I was home in Nov my dad took me to a gun shop in Ark City KS that was exactly what I want. When you walk in that place except for the modern inventory it was like walking into a store 100 years ago.
I wish you the best of luck in that. I think back to my days in the shop fondly.

Someday I hope to have one as well.
