I play the harmonica.

I have a guitar, but I need to restring it, then learn how to play it.
Same here my guitar needs some work.some kid got a hold of it'
I'm a lefty. It's strung right.

I tried playing it, but my brain doesn't want to make sense of it.
I've played guitar for a total of maybe 7 or 8 years in my life. I was never able to advance beyond cords. I've written about 15 songs one of them I really like. I lost all interest and traded my Ovation to my oldest son for his Rem 700 his grandpa left him. That kid picked it right up and is now a darned fine musician. He plays base and lead guitar, drums, some key board and horn. So no I'm not a musician, but it seems I created one.
i like music quite a bit, all different types, with strong leanings towards country and western. have tried many times to play different instruments, but just could never learn for some reason. so my musical talent goes as far as knowing how to turn up the volume knob on the stereo!

I have a friend who can pick up instruments and figure them out. It's quite impressive.

I know the feeling. I'm trying to conquer my lack of ability.

Seems the only instrument I cold ever figure out was the harmonica, nothing else makes sense to my brain.
I played enough to know you have to be able to feel it and let yourself go with the music. On a very few occasions I got in the zone and did things with guitar and drums that impressed me. But I can't just turn that on like the good ones can.
I think we've been through 4 sets in the last 15 years. He finds killer deals, buys them, plays them for a while, then sells them when he needs money. I think there is a set over there now. You can get compact electronic drum sets now, but they're probably pricy. There's always Craig's List though, that's where he trades his.
I've been keeping an eye out.

Nothing yet, but I'm excited to think I might end up with one.
