in new york i worked at for since i was 16.funny i worked at ford but drove dodge my whole life.i always go for the underdogs but i built some beautiful cuda and chargers but i built a rare 1978 dodge ramcharger convertible.from frame up 30 inches of lift all spring.dana 60`s front and back with 513 gears.replaced the automatic with a four speed.360 police interceptor motor with rv cam, side pipes, ladder bars and 44 inch tires on custom made eaton wheels that where 14 1/2 inches wide..1970 amc pacer big bad orange and replaced all the brown interior with black interior and had a custom soft top made.any one else build or buy any cool car or truck post it would be great to see them.i had to put 35 inch tires on it just to lower it enough to take off the metal top.but that is not a truck you would see around it came convertible from 76 to 79..

Thanks shooter

awesome build mopar !!
god gave me a gift to be able to work with my hands and patience and determination.i just rip things apart. Anything and i will get it back together.i never see myself fail.i have not.i strive for excellence in everything i do and work very hard at it.i have many hobbies,i fancy myself a writer and an artist.i could basically build a house and i can tear anything mechanical down and fix it or restore it or make it like i did my ramcharger.this is not a muscle car board but i have many beautiful cars i refinished or rodded out all mopar.hence moparman1911.i love mopar,i am a man and my favorite pistol is a 1911 so go figure.thanks again shooter.

MoparMan, you and i are a lot alike in many ways! here are some of my favorite things.

fist set are my current 1911's. an American Classic II Commander in hard chrome that i did some mild custom work to. the next is my Remington R1 Enhanced that is a very good shooter, and my SA Loaded Micro Compact 45 that is one of my favorite 1911's i own.

my Dodge team at home. my red 2010 Ram 1500 Q/C and my 1999 Ram 1500 Q/C 4X4 lovingly called around the household, "The Blue Beast"!

thank you MoparMan! i have always liked Mopars and 1911's. my brother is even a bigger Mopar fanatic than i am, but he's not really into guns as much. here's a project of his we have been working on for over 13 years and it's finally getting closer to completion.

1966 Dodge Charger. originally a 383 w/2bbl carb and automatic transmission, factory A/C, P/S, P/B, full gauge package.

engine has been upgraded with an aluminum intake painted factory engine color, 4bbl Carter carb, little larger than stock camshaft, ported and polished heads, plus newer electronic ignition, newer type starter and alternator, Magnum cast iron exhaust manifolds, ect. will have A/C.

car was painted in the original color, dark green metallic, but we used a basecoat/clearcoat instead of a single stage. interior will be redone back in the factory color of black. has the rear bucket seats and full length console.

I like to say I was saved by cars once. It's a long and personal story, but the results were a life long love afair with hot rods and auto racing. I prefer Fords but this is my latest and greatest.

It's real built to SCCA general competition rules. I can't afford to race it, so I put lights back in it and drive it on the street. It's great for advertising the business.;)

Only car I have left is this one, the '72 RS/SS Camaro

1979 Z, super, super clean and nice, sold 10/2011

'70 RS Camaro with a very nasty 406ci small block and Borg Warner Super T-10, 4.56 possi 12 bolt. Way over geared. And a '67 Chevelle that has too many changes to list. Both sold to help pay for the '72 Camaro drag car.
