Just curious about all the calibers that the 336 platform came in.
I know of the 30-30 Win, 32 Spl, 35 Rem, 356 Win, 375 Win, and the 444 Marlin and 45-70 Govt (in the 1895 platform).
Oh yeah, the 308 & 338 Express (were those made before the takeover??)
What am I missing? if any ?? Thanks to those who participate.
Only interested in rifle cartridges, not the 38/357, 41, 44, or 45

I'm going to assume, that with 50 reads and no responses, I must have nailed it.
Except maybe 307 Winchester, but I'm not sure Marlin ever chambered that one.
I have thought about this tread a couple of times and I think you have nailed it. Some people say Marlin cataloged the 307win, but never produced any of them. I have never seen one. However, it is possible a few of them were shipped to gun writers. The other caliber I have thought about is the 7-30 Waters. It didn't last all that long in the Winchester 94, so I doubt Marlin produced one.

Oh wait....the 219 zipper. Oh yeah...the 44mag was chambered in the 336 before they moved it to the '94.

38-55 Cowboy

yup; I've only seen one of those, it had a checkered straight grip and a 24" hex barrel and very accurate out to 250 yards.
that was a beautiful rifle ! pity I didn't get to shoot it.
