Finally me and some mates went up and did those 4x4 tracks we promised to do 2 or 3 months back.
112-115f up there the first day.. That's bloody hot. Fortunately no Bush fires ! And too hot for deer.

I took some great video too, going up Billy Goat Bluff, but as normal, my steep drives look flat.
Not a pro you know, but it's good

Those fires in NSW are 600km plus from us, but the Alpine National Park, and basically all the East Coast of Oz, is thick bush.
So once she gets going ,it's gunna burn, and the onlt thing that stops it is a shift in the wind direction
That looks like a lot of fun in beautiful country! I had an '88 Isuzu Trooper that I took places that most sensible people would not go but what can I say, I was young and adventuresome (wife would say stupid but what else could she say - she was one of those "sensible" people!)
