There are a composite type slides you can add to your belt for feeding a pump or semi auto . It will allow you to grab 5 or 6 rounds at once. Butt stock and receiver holders. Then of course I like a pocket. Then again if your shooting a AA12 do you need more than a Mag full?

Me too. I'm really getting the hang of shotgun in cowboy shooting, but my single shot is holding me back. I practice often to speed my reload. I know the best can strip 4 from their belt, but the local guys were surprised I say I could do it at the last match. The muscle memory wasn't there and I kept forgetting, but I can do it easy. So now I practice every day to get that muscle memory down, because it speeds me up a bunch. In the first match I discovered the angles that allow two knock downs with one shot. In the last match I didn't miss a single angle.

I can't claim much so far in two matches of cowboy, but I can claim not a single miss with shotgun, and I see the angles. It'll take time to get speed with the pistols and rifle, but I can stand out in 2 ways. Show up with new leather for every match, and get real good with a single shot.

if you watch some of the world champions shoot shotguns, The tacticool guys would have trouble keeping up.

I practice thru out the afternoon yesterday, just get past the fumbling is a feat. I pull 2 and load one load the 2nd then pull 2 more from the belt. I recon you can do that with a single shot as well. I was an adult when I bought my first pump. Learning to hunt with just a old single shot my dad found for me to use as a young boy.
