    To many "what ifs" in a situation like this. Jack the Ripper never used a gun, the Boston Strangler never used a gun, Two incidents in this area where a baseball bat was the instrument used. Another were it was fists, and another with kicks..on, and on...

    We all get our viewpont heard on forums like this one and many more. But to have a captiave audiance to untold millions like this....:mad:

    I noticed that Toyota's Logo was at the bottom as a sponsor.
    If a large number of sportsmen would send Toyota a letter/e-mail asking if they sponsored that type of rhetoric. If so, maybe the next time that a hunter/sportsman needed a new truck, they would cross Tundra & Tacoma off their list. Then maybe they would give him a good head slap.
    I doubt that Bob Costas cares two hoots about Jovan, his girlfriend or their families. If he was black-listed by the sponsors, he would care.

    I sent Toyota an e-mail and also posted this comment on facebook along with the video embed. Most of my friends on there are sportsmen. Let's see how far it goes.
    To all Hunters, Sportsmen and Outdoorsmen; This unsolicited and misguided opinion was brought to by, (look in the lower right corner) "Toyota".

    A fair bit of dribble in that statement.

    OK...we now have the rebuttal on the Costas comments on national TV. And again its by a Sports Writer. I know this view will be applauded by those on here as were Whitlocks comments were booed. But the principle remains the same. They both used their Notiarity and access to gain National attention over the masses. No place for this on a Nation Wide or World Wide Social Media, IMO.

    He wasn't looking at the whole picture lets talk about the other side of the spectrum.What if she had a gun and pulled it on this NFL star that probably out weight her by over 100 pounds.And shot and killed him and not shot herself and lived to tell her child about it.

    @ FOUR4D4;

    It's all personal preference as far as vehicles are concerned.
    I had 30 years of service with Honda Mfg.. My Dad fought in WW-II. This is a different generation.
    The fact is that the transplant automaker have a higher domestic content than the big 3 and have had, by design, from the beginning. It is a global manufacturing world, like it or not. Not to mention that the US automakers let their quality slide for several years before the competition forced them to improve. Not just my opinion but also the opinion of J. D. Powers and many of the dealers.
    The point that was hidden in my post is (tongue in cheek); Toyota is no more responsibly for Costas' misguided opinion than Boeing was responsibly for the destruction of the Twin Towers or any firearm manufacturer was responsible for the actions of Jovan Belcher.
    It's not about Guns anyway. It is about taking away Our Liberty and creating a Socialist Government.
    I nudged Toyota to create another source of pressure on the liberal networks and to slap down an Airhead Liberal. I'm kinda weird that way. :rolleyes:
