have you ever tried bowfishing? i tried this many years ago, and it's a blast! also allows you a lot of practicing that is a benefit for hunting larger game.

I want to, never can find a left handed bow.

my PSE Team Fitzgerald bow. i need to go and buy a target to practice on. i haven't even shot it since i traded for it last year. i had a chipper/shredder that i traded a guy for it back last june or july.

i bought the chipper/shredder from my brother real cheap as he hadn't used it in about 6 or 7 years and was just taking up space in his storage building. i put a new spark plug and air filter in it, changed the oil, cleaned the fuel tank and carburetor and fired it up! worked great. found i really didn't need it, so i listed it on craigslist for $400 OBO cash or possible trade. had some offers, but the guy with the bow was the best one, so i went ahead and traded with him. i bought a few more arrows and fieldpoints, but i need to buy a bow target and start practicing again. i use to shoot about 50-100 times every evening when i got home from work. it was a great stress reliever!

I am a traditional bow hunter. I hunt with a longbow. I shoot recurves also but not for hunting. I found that gun season was crowded, and quite a few of the gun people would ride around in their trucks with their guns loaded and never getting out of them to hunt just drive the logging roads and look for critters to shoot. So I went to trad archery only problem is the compound devices also get to be out there with us. So this year I wont be bow hunting but may after my knee surgery hunt with a real muzzleloader for elk. Crossbow devices are only legal during rifle season in my state and I surely hope it stay that way. FRJ
