The wife and myself ran on over to the RV park behind Lake Pomme De Terre Dam where we always go. Have our spot reserved 19-23 April for the first trip of the year. Had to order a new lock for the RV door today. It started going south end of last year, $43 to the door, got to have it.

The water was flowing GREAT from the outlet and the river is back to good depth and flow. Crappie are starting to bite in the South arm of the lake where it is shallower and warmer. About 6 fishing on both sides of the Dam and NOTHING, the water is COLD on that end and in the river.

Sounds like you're going to have a good time. Will it be just you and your wife?? In April, school will still be in session.
My wife & I need to plan a trip for this summer. Thinking about a trip up the west coast of Michigan and into the UP. Haven't been that far north before.
Last November, we traded my 2006 F-150 with a 5.4 liter V8 for a 2015 Nissan Frontier 4X4 with the 4.0 liter V6. I need to see how it will handle my camper before we make plans to travel very much. The truck is rated at 261 hp & 291 ft. lb. torque with a tow rating of 6000 lb. The trailer is 20' in length weighing in at a gross of 3800 lb. The TT also has a V front end that cuts down on wind drag. According to the numbers, it should do a good job but numbers sometimes lie.
Have fun and let us know how the fishing goes.
May have had a change of plans. I'll blame the wife.:))
Looks like the trip to Mich. has been replaced with a trip to The Outer Banks of N.C.
And then on to southern S.C. To check out a possible winter retreat???
Oh the plans of men & mice.
