I use a basic drip at home. There are some great drip machines out there, but in the $10 - $100 range there is no real difference in taste, just features.

My daughter gave me her 4 cup Mr. Coffee drip coffee make since she got the Keurig. I couldn't be happier. I have graduated from the occasional cup of instant coffee to coffee every morning now. And the small size is just the right size for me.
I keep my coffee in a glass mason jar. I don't know if it makes a difference but when possible, I store my food items in glass rather than plastic. We used to store coffee in the fridge too, but the man in the coffee shop said, it's not a good idea. It seemed counterintuitive, but I now keep it on a shelf, or in the coffee grinder.
I'm going to have to disagree on this one. I believe the cone type coffee makers make a better cup of coffee. Especially when making less than a full pot.I use a basic drip at home.
