What do you use to remove copper fouling? A Brass brush and Hoppes Bench Rest Copper Solvent is not working.

Thanks Shooter13!
I have a Model XT-17v, and a 1895 GST as far as Marlin firearms.
Welcome to the Forum. Glad to have you with us.
Is that 1895 GST the Stainless White Tail Engraved Model?? I assume it is the one in your avatar. If so, that is a beautiful rifle!!

By the way, what is a welder's tigit?? ;) :D

Greyhawk- thanks, yes, and thanks. I just uploaded some photos of it as well as my favorite side arm. The name is welders-tig-it, an old nickname I got since I was the only certified GTAW (tig) welder in the shop I worked in.:)

To Remove Copper Fouling, Try this:
1/3 ea. White Vinegar, Hydrogen Peroxide & 10% Ammonia.
You can get it All at WalMart.
Way Cheaper than "Bore Cleaners" & it Works Great.
Do Not Use w/ a Bronze Brush, Use a Nylon Brush.
It Will Eat Up your Bronze Bore Brush.
Usually 4-5 Passes w/ a Wet Brush, Let it Set for 5 min & Run 2-3 Dry Patches.
No More Copper! Then Run a Tight Patch Soaked in Ed's Red thru the Bore.
Follow w/ a Dry Patch & your Done.
