The year was 2004 in Geneva county Alabama. I was stationed down there and one of my army buddies married a local gal and her daddy had 26 acres we could hunt on (SCORE) and got a wife to.
We got out there about 5 a.m. and got into the stand we built a week earlier. we were being super quiet and saw nothin for 3 hours. Well we were getting hungry and decided to in for breakfast so we started yackin and smoking cigarettes,makin all kinds of racket, low and behold out walk a couple does to see what the noise was, we bagged them both on the count of 3. We hunted there for 2 weeks and got 7 deer,everytime we were smokin and jokin,never did see a deer when we were quiet.
