I got them in the military (mandatory) and they always made me sick,Does anyone here get them and do they make you sick ??
I hated getting flu shots. One time around 1998 I got the flu shot, yellow fever and tyfoid shot the same day and thought I was going to die, good lord that was awful.

A friend got a flu shot and he got Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

They still have him on a respirator, but hope to be able to send him home in a month or two.

Yes I do...Have for a lot of years. I had the flu in 1776...BAD..For over a week I firmly believe I was "TO SICK TO DIE". No problem since then, with the shots. My daughter tells me as soon as they get it in and I'm the first one in...

I never miss a year, except one about 4 years ago. Ended up in the hospital with the flue. I don't miss them any more!

Got sick way back when with Military-mandated the darn things. Now, no problems with the shots and no flu either.
for me...shot is worth it.

Perhaps I should try it and see "again" I wonder if the military had a stronger dose..Hell who knows what they gave us....

If it's something I can survive and pass the genetic solution to the next generation I'm all good to catch the flu.
