This years trip into Outback Oz revealed large groups of Camels.
This is one group we intersected, not all that far from water.
The bulls were enormous, and formed the first line of defense.

Never got the exact number as more and more kept pouring out of the scrub.

I did not take a rifle , on this trip, as there is too much "red tape" to get a rifle into Western Australia.

There are a couple of short video clips on my Facebook page also for those interested.
ie Bryan O'Halloran , (swimming in a River)

Cheers
Bucky

Looks LIke this might be one food source to combat hunger in places that need help. I know I could eat Camel if I was hungry. Kangaroo too!! In fact I'd like to try either one or both.

If someone makes jerky from camel meat would that make him a camel jerky jockey?

And would camel jerky have a hump in it?

Bucky, do you guys have a season for hunting them like deer?

if you do not tell TV stations, it's open season, all year round:D

I have a sneaky suspicion, that the choppers fly in occasionally, to keep the numbers down, if you get my drift.
of course, everyone will deny it, as then there is no red tape
