I have an older (L prefix) 39A Mountie that was my Dad's. He left it to me and I have enjoyed shooting it. It has a Bushnell 4x one inch scope on it It was always easy to fire because it had a special hammer on it that was extended to the right. NOT an add on but a one piece hammer with the right side extended 1/4 inch. No marking on it.
The problem is I have to shoot left handed now due to loss of sight in my right eye. Now I will need a standard hammer and some sort of add on device on the left side.
How should I tackle this?
