Prayers for my family returning and living in Houston. It's Marshall Law down there right now and criminals by the hundreds have been reported posing as rescue boat volunteers and they have been raping and robing these people that need rescue. So prayers there is a solution to stop this madness and safe travels.

This is first I have heard of the raping and robbing by rescue impersonators. That's about as low as a person can get.
I have been wondering about what all the drug users are doing to get their drugs. I imagine there are some people in really bad ways not being able to get their drugs.

I just returned from 16 days in Houston. They didn't have Marshall Law, but did impose 10PM - 4 AM curfews in some of the areas. I worked the law enforcement/security segment for the Red Cross, and was privy to what out 1000 volunteers were told. I didn't hear anything as stated above.

We did have an unlicensed nurse trying to jump in with the Red Cross, but that was only a rumor. We also found many crooked ministers trying to set up shelters using the Red Cross as their shelter staff, and were padding their numbers as a way to get rich off the $40 per day allowance per person by FEMA. We closed them down immediately.
