Our new 39A is a fiddly little thing. It's suffering from sticky chamber and FTF despite good primer strikes. It's relatively new and has behaved like this since we got it. I'm having a hard time convincing my dad to send it back to marlin. Any suggestions?

Spray it down w CLP. Let sit for bout 15 mins then wire brush the piss out of the chamber area after you break it down. Keep the chamber lubed fairly lightly until its good and broke in. The FTF sound like a bad ammo thing. Try different brands.

Not bad ammo. Its rare if never that you can shoot a full magazine with no FTF.

Then contact Marlin and explain the problem...I'm sure they will send you a prepaid mailing label and instructions on how and where to ship...they will probably ask for a copy of the receipt to verify that it is newly purchased and under warranty.

Let us know how you make out...
