I visit alot of other forums and they have a "Sticky" thread of photos. Maybe we can get one started here and have the Mods "Sticky" it.
We all are proud of our guns, whether we just bought them, built them or restored them... show them off. But pics only....

Very nice rifles
From a 22lr to a 30-06, and finally to a big boy 44mag
You definitely cover all of mine style of rifles.
I did however like the M14 (USMC rifle) a bit too heavy, but I did saw Ruger M-14 Mini-Thirty Ranch in 7.62 is one I like to have. Well Christmas is around the corner, and I'm going have to drop some hinds from now until then.
Obama gun????
Dutchs, I noticed you had a pic of an 887 Nitro. How do you like it, how does it compare to other shotguns in its class (as say the 870)? I was looking at one today in the new Wal-Mart that came in Anchorage (makes number 3 in my fine city) the price is $367.00 about $30.00 more than the 870 with wood furniture.
My Grandfathers Shotgun made in 1907 Meriden Firearms Co. New Aubrey

Sorry Art I'm a little slow sometimes:eek: I really like the 887 , I had a 870 before and this is a much nicer feeling shotgun to me..It shoots the 3 1/2 inchers too. It is VERY light so it's a recoil heavy so be ready but I kinda like that myself. Very nice Shotgun for the money IMO....
Regarding the 887 "plastic" coating. There are other guns with a similar "guard" on exposed metal. How well does it work under rough conditions?

P/U a 1909 Argentine Cavalry Carbine a few weeks ago
7.65x53 caliber, shoots a .311"-.312" 150 grn bullet @2600-2700 fps
or a 180 grn @ 22400-2500 fps. recoil is not bad, even with the steel buttplate
MOD (minute of deer) @ 100 = 4" groups I like it !! :D

Old memories, the 1909 Argentine Mauser was the first gun I even owned. Bought it when I was about 15 at Montgomery Wards for $14. It was the full length model. I cut the stock down in shop class. Coyotes and Jack Rabbits in the canyons of San Diego with iron sights. That was when I had EYES .... lol.
Latest aquisition.

TC Contender second variant G-1.
Center Point 4X16 Scope.
Caliber is 7-30 Waters.
Custom Tiger Maple Stock.
