And it seems to be a unicorn. Model 455 in 308. Has 1975 stamped on the receiver. Maybe made from different parts or maybe it's a serial number. From what I've read the 455 was discontinued 1959 . Only 1050 or so made and only 50 or so in 308. Looking for any info on it. Have some pictures if anyone is interested

Correct. Not much activity here. You may do better by going over to Marlin Owners for better results.
