We were at the in law's for Thanksgiving. The nasty red squirrels were raiding the bird feeders, so my youngest asked his grandpa to borrow his 22 but grandpa brings out the Daisy BB gun. We went out and sat around the corner of the house and he spotted it up in the tree about 25 yards away, one shot.

Great shot with a BB gun at 25 yards. Looks like ya got another young "Dinger" in the family. Did ya fry em up for Thanksgiving dinner ? thats the rule around here, you shoot it, you clean and EAT it. My grandson (The Bawana) got his fill of chipmonk when he first started ......

I don't bother with .22's for squirrel anymore either...

My Gamo Whisper in .177 is all that is required.
