I bought an 1895 45-70 at a pawn shop it had a cheap scope on it but was missing the front sights. Whom ever owned it before removed them and slipped on 2 Limbsaver rubber recoil dampeners. I took them off because they didn't look right and the cheep scope and put a redfield wide angle scope on.
I would like to put the factory front sights back on it so it looks complete. I'm looking for the screws, base, sights and hood to make it look right.
I have two free Limbsaver rubber recoil dampneners.
thanks

Oh yes, my son-in-law bought me an all brass one for my 30-30 marlin and it looks great.
But for the 1895ss I was just wanting it complete. Right now I have a Redfield scope on it and it doesn't look right missing the front sights.
