How would you go lugging that beauty out of the Bush ?

Well, at 600-800 lbs it takes 7 good men and a horse to drag it. I have seen outfitters quarter a big elk and haul the beast out on pack horses. One man cannot do it alone. Unless he has a lot of time and is named Hercules.

Kinda' makes ya' feel like a girly-girl complaining about dragging out a 170-pound whitetail doesn't it?

I don't know...I am from Iowa...Our deer don't get that small.

I'm sorry, did you think I meant the whole deer? I was only talking the hindquarters. The rest we haul out by tractor or four-wheeler.
