Well well well
Been slack as, and have not been out to sight in my 2 new scopes
Viper 4-16 x 50 HS , with tags for the .222 Ruger, and on Wednesday, the Leupold VX2 1-4x20, for my 1895 Marlin.444

Main reason is that it was that windy here, "it blew my neighbour's dog off its chain" ( he he he )
And the wind has got up again
BUGGER Me, if the weather will come good.

Won't be long though.

Been windy here too. A farmer reported to the local radio station that one of his hens laid the same egg 3 times.
Congrats on the new scopes Bucky! I'm looking at scopes for a Sako .243 that I bought a while ago. Also. if the wind blew your neighbor's dog off its chain, how are the 'roos and camels making out? Must be rough having those blowin' around in the yard!

That Viper Vortex scope I brought is kewl.
It's just a HS 4-16 x 50 in a 30mm tube, with brilliant optics, and none of the fancy buttons, dials, and rectile attachments. Something I can probably take out to 350-400 yards easily.
Also
Wonthaggi, in Victoria, Oz, is 2 miles off the coast of Bass Straight
It is always blowing or raining here.
Also we lived on King Island, which is in the middle of Bass Straight, and I think that's where the "blowing a dog off it's chain" theory was formed, as the wind really gets going there.

I have not been out on the foxes or "skippy's "yet with that Viper scope on my .222, but it's sighted in at 100 yards/paces.
Hinting foxes and "skippy's will happen sooner than later.
I am heading up the High Country, in 4 days, to "take my rifle for a walk in the Bush", so that could be interesting.
I just wish the Mrs would "stop texting Bambi" that I am on the way up

Cheers

Congrats on the new optics. You are a class act. Serious equipment for a serious hunter. :))
Wish you much success on your hunt.
Good luck on the hunt Bucky and enjoy yourself!
