Got the 3-9 back from Nikon today, the service write up sais "adjust collimation" what ever that means..anyway the parallex isn`t all over the place so I`m happy...Fixed and no charge :eek:
Now I can take the .223 out for round 2

Hope its fixed for good....In my aim to "learn something everyday" i looked it up:

col·li·mate
tr.v. col·li·mat·ed, col·li·mat·ing, col·li·mates 1. To make parallel; line up.
2. To adjust the line of sight of (an optical device).

Now if someone complains about their scope WE CAN ALL SUGGEST..."get your Collimiation Adjusted"......:D

I try and not sound as dumb as I look.....:p
