I hope to be able to contribute to this young forum. I have owned several Marlin clone (J.C.Higgins) 22's and just this month I purchased a new Mod 60 SB.
Love it to death!..... I'm planning on doing a MCARBO trigger mod in the very near future to further enhance the rifle. On the short list is also a 336SC. I mistakenly passed one up recently and could kick myself. If anyone is from my area, please don't hesitate to msg me!
