Don't get me wrong, I love my Lever Guns.
However, if I had my drothers, I'd have a safe full of single shots. Light weight, simple, durable and they remind me of the classic buffalo guns.
Problem is, I've owned 2 NEF rifles and neither one was as accurate as I expected. I guess that my love for singles goes back to when I was a youngster carrying a Palmetto Arms single shot 16 ga. while hunting with my Dad.
It's a little late to start my collection over but maybe I should have went with the T/C Contender line of firearms??

bob. First off thank you for your compliments.you are too kind.i try to post interesting things we can all talk about.funny you said 16 gauge.i only knew 16 gauge as a kid.it was the best of all worlds in my opinion.mossberg pumps which i love but i am sad only remington and h&r if i am correct even make a 16 gauge.i will tell you a secret, shhh,i bedded the action of the h&r and am the king of mounting scopes,i have all the correct tools, levels and such to have the scope perfect.but bob you would love shooting that little thing.with 300 grain bullets it is a light 12 gauge kick.thank you again bob for your kind words...stephen
