Yep buying handguns is very addictive especially if one has their concealed carry BS let me have my 2nd rights permit.
I had bought 20 handguns in about a year and a half after getting my CHL. I sold off a bunch and now only have 12 handguns.
I have enough guns and I am not going to buy anymore......famous last words. I said that so many times I can't imagine how many times I said that.
Ruger GP100 Match Champion is my hand tank.

I have specifically avoided 1911s. I don't need another caliber in my life.

22LR, .38Spl, .357Mag, 9mm, .225Win, .30-06, 12ga and 20ga are it for me.
LOL what you need has nothing to do with limiting gun ownership. At least it didn't for me. If you shoot a 1911 I would almost wager you would end up buying one.
If you don't want to buy any more guns then don't be reading gun reviews, going into LGS or gun shows, checking out Gunbroker or gun auction sites. Don't watch Hickok45 videos. Gotta have it tends to sneak up when least expected. That was how I out grew my safe.
Of course this is just my opinion or should I say my history of weakness for guns.
I have four .22 handguns, 2 semi auto and 2 single shot revolvers.
One 40 cal semi auto. One 9mm semi auto. Two 357 revolvers. Two 38 spl revolvers. One .32 revolver. One 1911 .45. Two semi auto 12 ga shottys. One 12 ga pump. One M&P 15-22 rifle. One 30-30 Marlin 336 lever rifle. One .22 Marlin 60. One co2 bb pistol. One pump bb rifle. LOL like I needed all these. But it keeps from getting bored shooting just a few. This is what is left after selling off over 12 guns. It is an addiction I tell ya. LOL I don't have squat compared to some gun owners.
