Hi, all. Just joined after private message in Firearms Talk.
I live in Northern CA and joined the shooting community just a few years ago. Bought my first, a Ruger GP100, for home defense, and have loved it since. Hard to estimate the rounds I have through it and other than some tough to scrub out marks near the cone, it's like new.
I added my Marlin 1894CSS a year ago, also in 357. I like the versatility and interoperability of the two. The cowboys had it right.
Then when I saw the Ruger 10/22 Takedown, I had been eyeing 22s for the ability to shoot for hour for the same cost as 30 minutes shooting 357s. Really enjoy that handy rifle.
I've been thinking about my next step and instead of the reloading bug I'm going to check out inexpensive red dot sights.
I'm not a hunter, not a black gun fan, and not an NRA member, but I am an enthusiast, a 2nd Amendment supporter, and I don't judge what other people are into.
