Hi from the tip of the mitten in northern lower Michigan. I'm a minister of the gospel and I love collecting firearms and shooting. Currently down to two Marlin Levers and an assortment of Ruger handguns.

I've been up in your neck of the woods several times. Years ago, a group from work went to the Alpena area to hunt mushrooms. I have a friend here that was in to Air Force and married a girl from Alpena. Her family is still there. He & I went up that way deer hunting a few years ago.
Michigan is a pretty state. The winters are a little too cold for my liking but, never the less, a great place to be if you enjoy the outdoors.

Cold? We just got our first (and only) snow last Friday. It's downright tropical here.
