Hornady LEVERevalution & FTX Bullets??

How many here have tried the Hornady LEVERevalution???
I have bought both the 30-30 and the .35 rem. but haven't tried then at the range.
Because I Reload;
I have, however, tried the Hornady FTX bullets. My only complaint is that Hornady's recommended load data is about 200 fps slower than the Factory Ammo.
Because of my age and physical problems, my hunting isn't what it used to be nor near what I would like it to be. Just the way it is.

The Hornady LeveReveloution shoots great in my 308MX. I have not done much reloading with it yet, so I'm not sure if I can match the factory loads, but haven't really tried.

I posted a fix for the 45-70 LE crimping problem in the Big Bore section, cause I didn't know this thread was going on. My bad.
Most people do not realize that the LVR powder you buy is not the same powder used in all calibers of Leverevolution ammunition. I wrote Hornady and they replied that their powder blends for Leverevolution ammo are caliber specific and I cant get the same velocities out of my 338 MXLR by using LVR as factory achieves. I have found this to be true. The only powder I have found that will match factory velocity in my 338 with FTX is AA2520. Fom
In case some of you weren't aware, the die length problem doesn't seem to be present on 30-30 brass. I wasn't using my used Hornady LE brass because I thought it was shorter too. It isn't. Found that out after someone urged me to measure it. Duh. My mistake. It measures the same as used Fed, Rem, and Win brass.
I must say the 160gr FTX has made my mod94 win 30-30 a lot more accurate and have performed great on all smaller african planes game. I have used it more than ever since i started loading ftx. My father brought it back from the states in his golf bag in 1976, how times have changed

I will be trying these projectiles, for my .444 Marlin, as soon as I can get some

Cheers

i use leverevolution ammo in my little 336y and at 100 yards i get 1 1/2 inch groups, using a Tasco world class 1.5x4.5x 32 scope. I shot a 4x4 treated post at 5 yards and blew it into. this is the best and last type of ammo i will ever use in my gun.
I shot a 12 point that weighted 200 pounds at a full run at 40 yards with the leverevolution ammo in my 336y 30/30. he went down then got back up and fell for good at around 20 yards. Its the only ammo ill ever use in my little gun.
my brother in law shot a black bear with his pre 64 winchester using leverevolution ammo 30/30 . it went down at the spot and did not get back up
