Love to hear some input regarding reloading Hornady Leverevolution in 45-70 to shoot in my Marlin 1895. A lot of the areas I hunt require non lead bullets. Any recipes? I'm planning to use a Lee Precision Loader, as I don't need to load bulk ammo. I have several different brand of powder, primers and copper bullets. Curious about other reloaders input, history, etc. the "latest" 47-70 reloading manual from Midway doesn't list these copper bullets.
For the best advice, jump ionto Hornady's site. There are a couple of adjustments you have to make to the Shell, or that is what a mate of mine tells me, so I just kept away from them and went for Woodleigh Projectiles, in my .444 Marlin Try these links, and do some more research http://www.shootersforum.com/big-bo...ornady-leverevolution-45-70-brass-reload.html http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=380760 Cheers Bucky
