Found one. A 1980 Glenfield 60 with the squirrel stock, looks a like it's been shot maybe 50 times. The sick part, I put a silent auction bid of $60 on it and won. $69 out the door. It's apart right now waiting on a new buffer to arrive. I put Tung Oil on the stock, no other refinishing, added sling studs ($3). I also put on the Williams FP-AG ($35) I'm also waiting for a front ramp and Marbles front sight ($30) to arrive. $142 total. I also fell into a 1983 Marlin 70 for $125. This was an estate my FFL was liquidating, he sent the list out and I happened to on my iPad when the email arrived. I responded in about 30 seconds with, "I'll take #13 the Marlin 70, now to look at the rest of the list". I ordered Tech Sights ($80), 4 extra 10 round mags ($90, damn), sling studs, swivels and a GI sling ($30). No refinishing, just Tung Oil, it still had the 22LR warning sticker on the stock. So for $325 total, I have another Appleseed rifle ready to go. This makes 13 Marlin rimfires. Marlin 56, 80G, 99M1, 70HC, 70, 995, 60, 60, 60SB, Glenfield 25, 25 and 60. The 13th is a model 60 receiver and barrel that was canibalized for the action and stock. It's now wearing a Butler Creek 795 stock (the $20 sale) and I bought a model 70/989/995 action for it, so it wil be the detachable magazine model 60. Pics of the latest 3 to follow when they are all back together.
