Hi Santa. Make sure you use sunscreen on the chrome. I hear it gets hot in 'Bama.;)
Do you prefer long or short?
Do you prefer long or short?
I have to say, because it is my preference, short. I don't have the chin whiskers, just a buzz cut.
Lookin good with the trim Gumpy. I still get mine "High & Tight". But I also still have some on the chin.
I guess that way you get your money's worth :) Trimmed you look like an All American Boy

My goatee could use a trim. and hair is a bit longer than I care to have it
The biggest advantage is that it keeps my face warm during the winter when fishing and hunting.
BTW my wife is a barber!
I liked it full Gumpy...gives a man character.

Haven't cut my hair since I left service with the DoD...9 years this April.

My fully groomed and silver grey hair is now half way down my back.

The chicks love it...;)
I do my own haircut and beard trim at irregular intervals. I do admit I sometimes am quite shaggy. I don't use clippers for my haircut, just scissors. Sometimes, it's a little uneven, but I don't get traumatized by it. It will grow back.

The difference between a good and bad haircut......is about 10 days.

I like the before. I also like really shaggy beards though so there you go.

I used to be a long haired weirdo hippy freak too. Then I started working security jobs and they said I had to get it all cut off.
So, how long did it take for you to grow the full beard version Gumpy?
For the last several years I've kept it trimmed in the summer, and quit cutting in August. So, about 4 months for a full beard. It grows fast.
Dang, that's quick. My beard grows fast, but not nearly that fast.
Mine was "high and tight" when I was serving with the DoD...

...although I did have a "cop" mustache. "Very professional"

Stopped cutting it when I put my retirement packet in...probably around 2 months before that date { April 1st, 2008...which was the end of my pay period ( every 2 weeks ) }

When I told people the date of my retirement...they said " Yea...April Fools "

Now...9 years later { April 1st, 2017 }...I look like one of Hell's Angels... Silver hair in a pony tail half way down my back and a Fu Manchu to die for...

I'm just glad that @ 62 I still have all my hair...no bald spots !! ;)

You are fortunate. At 33 my hair is just thinning like no one's business. I would hate to be dating again while having it grown out.
I grew up having a jar head hair cut up in till I was 15. My father was WWII Staff Sargent .And as soon as my hair came any where near my ears or before it was time for a buzz cut. And the chip beef on toast was another story.
My father would say stay still while getting a hair cut or you will get a ear cut off.

LOL, I'm told the same thing when my wife does it. She cut my lip last time when she was trimming my mustache. She asked "Do you want me to do it again?". I said,

"Do you want it to be short?". She's going to keep doing it. LOL.
