Going into a barber shop on base while I was on active duty was a blast. Some would start telling the barber how they wanted it. The Barber would just point to the poster on the wall depicting a "regulation hair cut". Thats what they did, and all they did ...... in about 60 seconds. Every Friday morning there was a personnel inspection. If you didnt pass ....no liberty card for the weekend. The barber shops were packed on Thursdays.
