I had a day old pepperoni pizza for supper. That was kinda gamey!! lol I went crappie fishin yesterday and caught a bucketful, gave them away! My freezer is full.

Those Crappie fillets are hard to beat.

My family likes to have fishfries pretty regular, and I love to fish for 'em. Works out pretty good that way!! lol

My problem is I am not so good at catchin fish anymore. Never was much for panfish. But I can't even rely on my old standby's...catfish and carp. The cats I fry and the carp I smoke. If it wasn't for my hunting, I think I would starve.

How do you get them carps in your pipe!!

I dry em in one of mama's pillow cases and then wrap em in paper. She gets all hot and fumin and ....you know this could lead to a long BS session.

What else in life is there! lol

I fry all our fish in a fry daddy out on the back deck. That way it doesn't smell up the house. Plus the fries and the hush puppies!! mmmmmmmm,m!

Hombre, you need to go up to lake Tawakini by Greenville, TX. I've caught a ton of Crappie up there. And some monster Appaloosa Catfish. They are a flathead strain but spotted like an Appaloosa horse. Good white, clean meat!

I mix cornmeal and floor together. 1/3 flour and 2/3 cornmeal, salt and pepper. put mixture in a bag with some fillets and shake till covered. Deep fry to a golden brown. Good enough to smak yo mama from the table! lol

Made some Deer Stew 2 days ago. Just finished it off for breakfast this AM.

Not sure if it's "game" here or not.... being it wasn't shot LOL, but caught a couple catfish and oven cooked then with asparagus in my trusty cast iron pan. oh so tasty.

If you harvested it, it's game in my book. Look kinda silly shootin fish with a 45/70. lol BIG SPLASH!!!!!!!!
Sounds good. I'm going to try that with some Crappie fillets.
