Thats like the Sears Ted Williams line. I have a 12 gauge Ted Williams and it is actually a Winchester 1100 with the name changed. That old pump has took a lickin and is still tickin!I learned to shoot a shotgun with one of those! It was my dad's and he still has it (tagged for me when he passes). J. C. Higgins were sold by Sears and someone told me that they were actually made by High Standard. I understand that the name was actually the name of a Sears employee in the day. At any rate, nice quality, steel, walnut, American, a classic and a real sleeper if you ask me. Does yours have the compensator/adjustable choke?
