Knife I just finished

Just finished this one and took some pics. I just can't seem to get the detail to come out on the handle.

Here are the specs
#106 Hunter
1095 High Carbon, clay quenched in water
Overall length 8 in.
Blade cutting edge 3 3/4 in.
Height 1 1/8 in.
Stabilized Amboyna Burl bolsters
Stabilized elk antler
Mosaic brass pin
Handmade leather sheath

funny thing is, some people like the green and some hate it. I thought this one looked kind of camo
I like the green, got my scout with a green lam stock.
I dabbled in knife making for a while. I was a machinist for an aircraft company in Tx., and did a lot of programming and operating CNC Milling Centers back in the 80's. I did several knife projects (I was on night shift) that I thought were pretty neat. Hand made several from old Power Hacksaw blades. Out of all that I made I only have one left. Either gave them away or sold the rest.
Anyone tried to make one from a leaf spring?
That would take a lot of filing!!
Yes, it would, maybe grinder time would help.
Just be careful about how hot you get it, and how you cool it.
all my knives are annealed, worked and re-hardened then tempered.
